The company was founded in 1919, when Sidonie Mühldorfer started manufacturing quality pillows and duvets from goose down. Located in Haidmühle, still completely fulfills all the requirements of the enterprise. The calcium-free, pure mountain spring water ensures the high quality of the processed down. After cleaning the raw material in the fresh water from the Bavarian Forest Mountain and after being cool air-dried, the bacteria and dust-free down is filled into bedding products at a state-of-the art plant.

The quantum leap towards becoming a global provider for exclusive customers originally lifted off with Mühldorfer`s participation at a hotel fair in the United Arab Emirates. In 1999, this meant an order for the initial provisioning of the Burj Al Arab and onwards to many subsequent orders from all over the world.
